Earlier today, we gave you our interview with Axel Holmgren and Fia Kempe of The Great Discord, part of what became a Swedish-centric edition of Metal Monday here at Nordic Spotlight. Well, we’re not done with the lithe lead singer for that band as she provided backing vocals for another track we’re featuring here on the site by Vanhelgd.

The death metal band from Mjölby released their fourth full-length Temple of Phobos just last month and it has been scorching a huge hole in our consciousness ever since. Vocalist/guitar Mattias Frisk sings like he’s grabbing you by the throat, pulling you close for a simple talking to or something far worse. The rest of the band falls in line behind him, threatening immolation by way of blastbeat and grinding guitar chord. Listen to their work at your own risk.
