This year, Denmark’s Spot Festival re-invented itself by moving indoors to the newly constructed Godbasen. While performances still took place in the Musikhuset and off-site venues such as Voxhall and Atlas, festival goers found themselves spending a lot of time indoors sheltered from the cool weather enjoying a plethora of emerging artists.

With so much great music to be heard, it’s tough to keep on schedule to hear them all, but we found a few that are worth taking more a listen to. If there’s no corresponding audio or video that’s because these bands have yet to figure out make things easy for publications like us to help promote their music.

Instead of long-winded reviews, just some keywords and music. So, in no particular order, I present my personal picks from the festival.

Zebra & Snake (FI)

Uber-awesome, uplifting, pop-wave goodness – Personal favorite show.

LCMDF (FI)

Upbeat, fun, party

Hypertext (NO)

Jamspace, polyrhymtic, electronic pop mod fusion.

Kap Kap (FI)

Electronic Rock space jam, Pink Floyd meets Voivod.
