Sløtface‘s new intense single Nancy Drew summons the teen detective re- imagined as an indie rock boys club conquistador, and it slays.

My girl is wiping slates clear / And I long for the look / And a soundtrack of women who all know what’s up / I keep hearing their cherry bombs through the walls

A powerful rock song with jackhammer drums and razor guitar licks, Nancy Drew joins the excellent Magazine as tracks we’ll hear on the band’s upcoming debut album “Try Not To Freak Out”, out September 15th. We already anticipate it will break U.S. radio play records — if it doesn’t, then we’ll know for sure the indie rock boys club needs yet another pounding from Norway’s Sløtface. And since we had the privilege of getting a preview listen to the massive rock album “Try Not To Freak Out”, we’re absolutely sure they’re up for the task.
