When naming a band that has a country or city in the name, some confusion may arise.

Take for instance, the Swedish group You Say France & I Whistle or the Copenhagen-based Helsinki Poetry or and Australia’s Architecture in Helsinki (seems there is a fascination with Helsinki…and rightly so). There’s also the American band Stockholm and the Finnish band French Films…but, rest assured, the band Reykjavík! is actually from Iceland and they even reside in the city of their name.

What does a band that’s named after the biggest city in Iceland? Reykjavík! has just released their third album, Locust Sounds – 14 brand new tracks to take for a spin.
