We hope you’re not absolutely sick of the sound of AutoTune because this new track from hjälten is covered in it. Unlike some other users of the pitch correcting processor, though, this Swedish artist uses it, well, artfully. It helps to evoke the feeling of the song’s title, that sense of feeling unhinged from space and time when you’re deeply asleep. The track is also a wonderful addition to an ever-growing library of arch, off-kilter electronic pop created by this singular artist. We’ll be paying close attention to anything and everything hjälten releases from here on out.
