Soon enough, it’ll be that time of year again: Flow Festival, which began in 2004, will return to Finland’s capital of Helsinki for a three-day extravaganza that pairs the names American music listeners know and love with the hottest artists popular in the Nordic countries. If you’re interested in heading to Flow Festival, then we have good news for you: for a limited time, just a small deposit with a payment plan is available.

From Friday, August 9 through Sunday, August 11, Flow Festival will gather massive acts such as Robyn, Tove Lo, and Neneh Cherry — three internationally renowned, absolutely legendary Swedes — with musicians most celebrated in the Nordics, such as Finnish act Ville Valo & Agents (a new project from H.I.M. frontman Ville Valo) and the Finnish rapper Pyhimys. Tickets are already on sale.

Flow Festival takes place in a defunct power station, built close to two decades ago, near Helsinki’s center. The festival is known not just for its strong lineups, but for its fascinating venues. Most years, the festival occurs across approximately a dozen venues, which include the 25,000-capacity Main Stage as well as smaller spaces that can only host a few hundred showgoers. There’s also the Balloon 360° stage, the roof of which is an absolutely humongous pressurized balloon that you just can’t miss when you go to Flow.

Although this year’s lineup is already exciting, Flow Festival promises to announce more artists before August comes around. Already finalized, though, is Flow’s 2019 Resident Advisor Front Yard lineup, which includes Finnish duo Denzel & J. Lindroos.

If an internationally-spanning music festival with a strong Nordic emphasis in a Scandinavian capital sounds like how you want to begin the final stretch of your summer, we have great news for you: We’ve partnered with the event travel company Festicket to offer several package combinations. In addition to your ticket, through our partnership with Festicket, you can book a hotel or hostel, buy tickets to Helsinki’s most remarkable Ferris wheel, or hop on a guided bus tour.

As you get hyped for Flow, preview the festival’s expansive official 2019 playlist or stream the always forward-thinking Neneh Cherry’s newest album below. As you listen, close your eyes and dream of a weekend in Helsinki that you’ll never forget — it’ll be here soon enough.
