TMBP&H (aka Steven Wales) is a rising star in the European house and electro scene. This uber-talented gent from Norway lives in London now and it’s there that he produced his very first EP, a marvelously understated collection of pop adjacent electronic tunes reminiscent of Boards of Canada or Tycho. Naturally, this guy seemed like the perfect fit to keep our Nordic Spotlight Mix series going strong. I’ll let him describe the theme of this set he molded for us:

It’s a combination of different house and electro tracks that I use regularly in my sets, as well as some of the tracks that I’d say inspired the EP. There’s also some Cuban big band and Cha Cha. I also wanted to pay my respects to other great Norwegian producers, so I’ve included Todd Terje and Lindstrøm. I like to put narratives into everything I do, so this set is a sort of story, starting with Mopedbart leaving to go out. You can sort of follow the storyline by reading the song names.
