What do you get when you combine the talents of two dudes from Oranssi Pazuzu with a couple of gents that play in Dark Buddha Rising? You get Atomikylä and you get one of the most syrupy and evil-sounding records of 2016. This Finnish supergroup released Keräily last week and it has been rewiring my synapses ever since, courtesy of its throat-clenching riffs and the kind of unrelenting rhythms that can easily send you in a psychedelic trance. Feels goddamn good to crank this on a Monday morning.
